Gracie
Hi, and thank you for taking the time to look at our web page. We are in the beginning stages of our ranch. This is a dream come true for me, I have wanted to raise horses ever since I can remember.
I grew up on a small farm and knew that someday, I would have that for myself. Our over all goal has not yet happened, but what is life if you don't strive for any goals. I know it will happen someday, and now we have started on our journey. Our goal for this ranch is to breed and sell Friesians, Gypsies, and their crosses known as Gypsians. This is what are plans are for the future.
We have a verity of beautiful 1/2 Friesian & Gypsy mares (with many more comeing). Our first mare was Grace a beautiful black and white Pinto friesian mare. She is registered FSHR and IFCA, her sire is the Approved Stallion Sietze R.V. We are planning on only having a small number of foal with her, so get one while you can. We plan on retiring her from breeding after that and then we will use her as a pleasure horse or train her in dressage or hunters.
We feel that she should have a life outside of having foals. Look for her foals, she will be bred on average every other year. We know that sometimes you like the mare, but want a different stallion to breed with. We are willing to work out a plan for you. Because we are doing AI with other stallions, you may have the choice to breed one of our mares to any stallion. However, we will only allow breaeding with a Friesian or Gypsy stallion and we will need to personally approve the stallion of your choice to be sure that there is no or as little imbreeding as possible. If we don't feel that it is a good match, we will let you know and perhaps suggest another stallion that we feel would be a better choice.
We have a list of pre-approved stallions that you can pick from or wait to see what we plan to do. Go to the Stallions link, then on each stallion's page is the link to various websites for each stallion. I can say just about any "Approved Friesian Stallion" will be approved for breeding to any of my mares, so long as they don't have the same pedigree. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. If we can not give you an answer, we will find someone who can help.
Please visit Our Family, on this page you will see and get to know all of the members of our family. Why would you buy any horse and not know what kind of person was raising and taking care of it. We take pride in all of our horses and we strive to only let them go to good homes.
